Corporate History

Since 2002, 6K Systems, Inc. (6K)
has been a vital component in Information Technology and Management Consulting.
Headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia, 6K has strategically structured and
maintained its valued position as a minority owned, 8(a) certified Small
Disadvantaged Business (SDB).
In May of 2002, 6K received its first contract with ACS Government Services.
In this contract, 6K Systems, Inc. supported ACS’s DOE National
Security Administration initiative. Thereafter, 6K was selected
to support several more DOE IT initiatives such as: Sandia
National Laboratories, the Office
of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and the Savannah
River Complex.
In April of 2003, 6K received its first Government contract
with the Department
of Treasury (DOT) supporting
the Government-wide Accounting and Reporting Modernization Project (GWA).
6K was awarded a five-year follow-on contract in June 2004 due to its successful
support of GWA’s Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) efforts.
Providing superior products and services has led 6K to multiple new
contracts with Treasury (FMS, DMS, FO, OCC) and over 25 prime contracts and
task orders with DOT (FAA, Volpe,
BTS), Navy, Air Force, FTC, HoR, GSA,
and EPA.
